Wet pour surfacing

Wet pour safety surfaces will suit best for playgrounds, nurseries, schools, parks and public play area surfaces.

This is a porous surface made of rubber granules allowing water to drain through the surface layers and leave the surface ready for use all year round.

We are able to create stunning colourful and fun visual designs that will help to stimulate children's development and engage with equipment and play.

We can install wet pour rubber safety surfaces in a variety of bright colours and can replicate virtually any design, pattern, graphics for outdoor games and logos. This makes it a great option for playground safety surfacing and recreational areas as the surface different between the tarmac/ concrete/ grass on the outside and the smooth surface under the play equipment is more noticeable for children.

Our rubber surfaces are tested to BS EN 1177 safety standards to meet Critical Fall Height ratings and can be used with various playground equipment including swings and climbing frames, designed to reduce accidents and injuries.

Why choose Wet Pour Surfacing?

Due to its hard wearing nature and good slip resistance, it is often the chosen surface for play equipment. This can make it low maintenance, however if it does get damaged or worn, the use of a rubber crumb and polyurethane binder means repairs can be blended and incorporated into the rest of the playground surfacing without needing to remove large sections or having gaps.

Key advantages of wet pour surfaces:

  • Absorbs impact from falls

  • Minimal maintenance

  • Porous and suitable for all weather conditions

  • Wheelchair friendly

  • Installed in bright colours and any design

  • Complies with BS EN 1177:2018
