Polymeric Rubber

Polymeric rubber surfaces are high resistance and have a high degree of shock absorbency and slip-resistance. It can be used for professional athletics and a higher standard of play or for Multi-use Game Areas (MUGA) and playgrounds. The shock absorbency makes them one of the most popular surfaces for playgrounds as they can cushion any trips or falls better than other surface types.

Polymeric rubber is available in a variety of colours. It can be installed using different colours of rubber crumb granules to mark zones and it can be painted with anti-slip coating and line markings for different sports. These different colours allow a huge range of designs, including multi colour patterns for use on playgrounds, or more traditional single colour athletic tracks with anti-slip line markings.

Polymeric rubber surfaces can be used all year round as they are permeable and porous, and will allow the water to drain.
